Arya is a beautiful woman in her late twenties. She is married to a handsome man who regularly visits her in the hospital when needed. One day, when she gets discharged early due to his infidelities, Arya decides she's had enough and wants to get revenge on him for all the pain and suffering he has caused. With careful planning and extraordinary skill, Arya enters the house of an unsuspecting husband and wife who both happen to be doctors at their hospital by pretending to be her own husband...who happens to be dead. The story unfolds from there as Arya prepares herself for the ultimate showdown with her cheating husband while also trying not to get caught or killed by either of them. The film is inspired by the true story of Manikandan, also known as Manickan.It was announced that Arya had been cast for the first time in a leading role after she completed feature film "Kadhal Desam". The movie became a success with the actress being nominated at Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress for her performance.Arya married director Sathyan Anthikad on 1 November 2008. "Ninaithale Inthanum" marked Arya's debut as playback singer besides acting in movies. It marked her first song, "Pallettum Poove"in the title track of the movie. There are 22 songs in the movie. She has sung 6 tracks.The music was composed by Sreekar Prasad. The audio rights of the soundtrack were bought by Gemini Motion Picture Company. The audio was released on 24 June 2002 in Chennai, India with Srinivasan for the lead female role in the album along with Bharathwaj for his supporting role .
